Our story
Alpétif is a small print studio in Chambéry, at the foot of the French Alps. We make one thing properly: a soft, lightweight cotton tee with artwork on it that isn't the same recycled clipart everyone else is selling.
You can buy a finished piece from the collection, or open the studio and make your own — generate artwork from a sentence, drop your own image in, add your words, and place it exactly where you want it. Either way it's printed to order and sent to you.

A World Spills Out
01
Every print starts as a concept, not a template — two ideas folded into one image. A grizzly holding a forest sunset. A wave whose crest becomes a mountain. A book with a whole world rising off the page. If it doesn't make you look twice, it doesn't ship.
02
We use AI to draw, then judge it hard. Most generations are rejected — full-bleed rectangles, clipped edges, garbled lettering. What survives is cleaned, cut out by hand so the artwork floats on any shirt colour, and proofed on both black and white before it ever reaches the shop.
03
Image models cannot spell. So every word on every tee is typeset in real fonts — Futura, Didot, Bodoni, Copperplate — as proper lockups, ring stamps and club patches. That's why the type is razor-sharp at print size.
04
Nothing sits in a warehouse. Your tee is printed direct-to-garment with water-based inks in an EU facility, 2–5 business days after you order, then shipped tracked. No dead stock, no leftover boxes at the end of a season.
We print on a Bella+Canvas 3001 — 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, a lightweight 4.2 oz (142 g/m²) jersey with a classic unisex fit. Side-seamed with shoulder taping so it keeps its shape, ribbed collar, tear-away label. It's an everyday tee, not a boxy heavyweight.
Printed on demand in the EU · standard tracked delivery €4.90, free over €55 · prices include VAT.
